Materi Countable and Uncountable Noun Berikut Soal Latihan
Ada berbagai jenis kata benda (noun) dalam Bahasa Inggris. Salah satunya dibedakan berdasarkan jumlahnya apakah suatu benda dapat dihitung (countable) atau tidak dapat dihitung (uncountable).
Yang dimaksud dapat dihitung dalam hal ini adalah benda tersebut memiliki bentuk satuan yang jelas dan mudah sekali dalam proses penghitungannya.
Contoh: apple. two apples, three apples, etc.
Sedangkan uncountable atau benda yang tidak dapat dihitung adalah benda yang bentuk satuannya sulit untuk diukur secara pasti kecuali menggunakan alat ukur.
Contoh: water, sand, dust, snow, flour, etc.

2. Uncountable Noun adalah kata benda yang tidak bisa dihitung dengan angka. tidak ada bentuk Plural dari Uncountable Noun.

Kita tidak bisa mengatakan "He had many moneys."
Perbedaan Countable dan Uncountable Noun berpengaruh pada Determiner atau penentu kata benda nya.

Some/Any:
Some dan Any bisa digunakan pada Countable Noun maupun Uncountable Noun.
Some digunakan untuk kalimat positif.

Any digunakan untuk kalimat negatif dan kalimat tanya.
Contoh:

Much/Many:
Much digunakan untuk Uncountable Noun

Many digunakan untuk Countable Noun.
Contoh:
