Materi Present Perfect Tense dan Latihan Soal Kelas 9

Present Perfect Tense digunakan untuk menyatakan aksi yang sudah terjadi pada masa lalu dalam waktu yang tidak ditentukan, karena tidak terlalu memfokuskan pada waktu.
Kita tidak bisa menggunakan Present Perfect dengan kata keterangan waktu tertentu yang merujuk pada masa lampau. Kita dapat menggunakan ekspresi-ekspresi yang tidak tentu seperti: ever, never, once, many times, several times, before, so far, already, yet, etc.

Pola Kalimat Present Perfect Tense

Kalimat positive:

(+) Subject + has/have + Verb 3

Contoh kalimat:

You have seen that movie many times.
(Kamu telah menonton film itu berkali-kali)


Kalimat negative:

(-) Subject + has/have + Verb 3

Contoh kalimat:

You have not seen that movie many times.
(Kamu tidak pernah menonton film itu berkali-kali)


Kalimat interrogative:

(?) Has/have + Subject + Verb 3?

Contoh kalimat:

Have you seen that movie many times?
(Apakah kamu pernah menonton film itu berkali-kali?)

Penggunaan Present Perfect Tense

1. Waktu sebelum sekatang yang tidak tentu

Contoh:

I think I have met her once before.
(Aku pikir aku sudah pernah bertemu dia sebelumnya)


2. Pengalaman

Contoh:

I have been to USA.
(Aku sudah pernah ke USA)


3. Perubahan yang terjadi seiring waktu

Contoh:

My Math has really improved since I have a private course.
(Kemampuan matematika ku sudah berkembang sejak aku telah mengikuti les privat)


4. Pencapaian

Contoh:

Human has walked on the Moon.
(Manusia telah berjalan di atas Bulan)


5. Aksi yang belum selesai

Contoh:

Janisa has not finished her work yet.
(Janisa belum menyelesaikan pekerjaannya)


6. Beberapa aksi pada waktu yang berbeda

Contoh:

They have had many problems while working on this project.
(Mereka telah mendapatkan banyak masalah saat mengerjakan proyek ini)
