Soal Reported Speech (Direct and Indirect Speech) Simple Present Paling Efektif

Ada saat dimana dalam proses komunikasi kita sehari-hari seseorang menanyakan kepada kita sebuah pernyataan yang telah disampaikan oleh orang lain.

Misal orang tersebut bertanya: "What did he say?" (apa yang telah dia katakan?)

Tentu jawaban dari pertanyaan tersebut bisa jadi merupakan pengulangan sebuah kalimat yang telah disampaikan oleh si pembicara.

Misal jawaban yang kita berikan adalah: He said (that) he was proud of us. (dia bilang bahwa dia merasa bangga kepada kita).

Pengulangan kalimat seseorang seperti itu yang disampaikan kembali kepada orang lain adalah apa yang kita sebut dengan kalimat tidak langsung (reported speech / indirect speech).

Ada banyak bentuk direct and indirect speech / reported speech dalam Bahasa Inggris, sesuai dengan jumlah tenses yang terdapat dalam Bahasa Inggris.

Sebelumnya kita telah membahas salah satunya reported speech simple present - simple past tense.

Kali ini kita akan melengkapi sekaligus mengakhiri materi tersebut dengan latihan soal dengan harapan kita akan mendapat penguatan pada pemahaman kita tentang materi tersebut.
