Kata Sifat dan Kata Keterangan


·         Adjective atau Kata Sifat adalah kata-kata yang memodifikasi Noun (kata benda). Adjective menjelaskan tentang seperti apa sesuatu atau seseorang itu terlihat.

Contoh:
He is a smart boy.
My car is really fast.
She has a big house.

·         Adverb atau Kata Keterangan adalah kata-kata yang menjelaskan tentang bagaimana sesuatu terjadi atau bagaimana seseorang melakukan sesuatu. Adverb memodifikasi Verb (Kata Kerja).
Biasanya kita menambahkan akhiran -ly pada kata sifat untuk membuat kata tersebut menjadi kata keterangan.

Contoh:
He opened the door slowly.
The wind is blowing softly.
Raisa sang beautifully.

·         Kata-kata dibawah ini mempunyai bentuk adjective dan adverb yang sama.

“good” menjadi “well”
